Preview of the U.S. Strategic Command Case Study

U.S. Strategic Command User Alerting System for Command & Control Operations Center

AtHoc delivered a user-alerting solution for the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), which needed a way to immediately notify commanders and warfighters about changes to mission‑critical C2 data. USSTRATCOM’s existing web portal and enterprise apps held security conditions and threat information but had no automatic tracking or alerting, forcing continuous manual monitoring and causing delays in delivering critical updates.

AtHoc’s C2Alerts, deployed for 2,500 users at Offutt AFB, monitors multiple information sources and delivers role- and subscription-based real-time alerts to desktops and web, tracks responses and escalates as needed, and provides non‑IT management tools. The system improved situational awareness, accelerated commanders’ responsiveness, reduced errors from manual monitoring, and was selected after a six‑month trade study that rated AtHoc as the most intuitive and least disruptive solution.
