Case Study: Brodies LLP achieves faster, more reliable crisis response with BlackBerry AtHoc

A BlackBerry AtHoc Case Study

Preview of the Brodies LLP Case Study

For a Better Crisis Response Process, Scotland’s Largest Law Firm Turned to BlackBerry

Brodies LLP, Scotland’s largest law firm with more than 680 staff across Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dingwall, needed a more reliable way to protect sensitive client data and keep people safe during incidents. Their pay‑as‑you‑go SMS system was unintuitive, limited to a few IT users, SMS‑only and provided no way to gather responses, creating delays and gaps in the firm’s duty of care.

Brodies partnered with Appurity to deploy BlackBerry AtHoc, integrated with BlackBerry UEM, giving multi‑channel, templated and more intuitive crisis communications that wider teams can use. The platform sped up alerts (notably during heavy snow), improved coordination and situational awareness, expanded training beyond IT, and paved the way for two‑way accounting and incident reporting features.
