YIVO, a research institute and world‑renowned library devoted to the history and culture of East European Jewry, was using a dated fundraising platform and needed better tools to streamline email campaigns, plan and execute events, simplify online giving, and integrate with Raiser’s Edge.

YIVO implemented Luminate Online with GO! training and launched a viral Yiddish quiz email campaign. The campaign reached nearly 12,000 people, achieved a 27.2% open rate, 10% click‑through rate and 3% action rate, and added almost 300 new subscribers; the same approach has since generated 16 new sustainers and 800 signups for an upcoming online Yiddish class.
