Uses The Raiser’s Edge to Meet Funding Deficit

St Catharine’s College, one of the University of Cambridge’s oldest colleges (founded 1473), must fund much of its teaching, endowment and facilities independently due to limited government support. To sustain academic excellence the College needed a sophisticated fundraising system to target alumni with the right messages and manage prospect, event and communications data effectively.

For more than 15 years St Catharine’s has used The Raiser's Edge, supplemented by RE:Prospect and RE:Event, to manage alumni, prospects, events and campaigns. The database now holds over 7,500 alumni (with 14% giving regularly), supports an Annual Fund that raises about £150,000 a year, and has saved staff significant time that can be redirected to other development activities.
