A Blackbaud Case Study
The Ursuline Sisters of Tildonk are a nearly century-old Catholic religious community serving in education, pastoral care, and outreach whose members are now largely retired and living on limited benefits. With a small, mostly part-time development team and stagnant donor growth, they needed a more strategic, data-driven way to identify supporters and raise funds to care for the sisters in retirement.
By adopting Blackbaud’s data intelligence, eTapestry, and Target Analytics, the team began segmenting constituents, personalizing asks, and running targeted mailings. The changes cut printing and mailing costs by half, significantly increased response rates and tripled the number of donations, and raised the average gift by about 50%, enabling the small staff to raise substantially more for the sisters’ care.
