A Blackbaud Case Study
The University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation, formed in 2015 by merging the Alumni Association and the Foundation, works to engage alumni and other constituents in support of the University. After the merger the organization struggled with a confusing, low‑traffic website that didn’t tell its story well, hampered online engagement and made managing donations — especially recurring gifts — difficult.
Working with Blackbaud, the Foundation consolidated its data in Raiser’s Edge and launched a redesigned site using Blackbaud NetCommunity and Merchant Services in July 2016. The new, user‑friendly site unified the two organizations, improved navigation and storytelling, enabled online recurring gifts and automated donation data flow into Raiser’s Edge, and has driven better engagement, collaboration across campus and stronger stewardship of donors.
