The Newseum, a Washington, DC museum dedicated to explaining and defending the five freedoms of the First Amendment, needed a modern, easy-to-update website and better fundraising and communication tools to manage and grow its broad supporter base. As an interactive institution with extensive education programs, the museum sought solutions to improve ticket, membership, and donation conversions while clearly communicating its mission.
Blackbaud redesigned the Newseum’s website and implemented Raiser’s Edge NXT for donation pages and supporter segmentation, enabling targeted, personalized communications. Since launch the site has attracted more new visitors who spend more time browsing, ticket sales and online transactions are easier, and improved messaging has driven growth in membership sales.
