The Fragile X Society Uses everydayhero to host their new campaign

The Fragile X Society, a UK charity founded in 1990 that supports families affected by Fragile X Syndrome, wanted to move from reactive to proactive fundraising by running a nationwide, inclusive campaign. For Fragile X Awareness Day they launched #fragileXpedition — a collective challenge to walk, run, cycle or otherwise cover 8,026 miles (the distance around the UK) — and needed an attractive, easy-to-use platform that could host a shared goal, reach new audiences and integrate with their donor database.

They chose everydayhero for its branding flexibility, eTapestry integration, reporting, donor uplift and communication tools (including video thank-yous) plus strong support from the everydayhero team. The campaign exceeded expectations: in under two months participants surpassed the 8,026-mile target and went beyond the £8,026 fundraising goal, engaged new supporters who hadn’t heard of Fragile X, and helped the charity adopt a more proactive, centralized approach to future fundraising.
