A Blackbaud Case Study
The Bendrigg Trust is a 40‑year nonprofit that supports 3,000 disabled or disadvantaged people each year, relying on £500,000 in donations and more than 150 volunteers. When senior fundraiser Sarah Garman joined, fundraising was run from a basic Access database; to meet ambitious targets (including an £800,000 goal) they needed a cost-effective, easy-to-use and scalable CRM that would give in‑depth donor journey and history insight.
They moved to Blackbaud eTapestry, a solution that proved intuitive for staff and volunteers and provided joined‑up donor data “at the touch of a button.” After four years the system has given the Trust better insight into supporters, improved usability across users, and set the stage to consolidate systems further by adding volunteer management into eTapestry.
