Spectrum Health Enhances its Online Presence and Demonstrates Transparency with Blackbaud® NetCommunity™

Spectrum Health, the largest nonprofit health system in western Michigan with seven hospitals, more than 140 service sites and nearly 14,000 staff, sought to enhance its online presence and demonstrate greater transparency. The organization needed a richer, more interactive website that let donors register for events, create personal or professional fundraising pages, and made constituent information easily accessible to staff.

Within three months of launch online gifts rose 340%, donation amounts nearly tripled, about 80% of online donors were new, the email list grew 30%, and integrating systems saved roughly five minutes of data entry per donation.
