The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) supports UK sailors, marines and their families but was held back by a clunky, sales-oriented CRM, manual processes, duplicated supporter records and COVID-related staffing challenges. To meet its fundraising goals and better steward donors, RNRMC needed a fundraising-specific platform that could scale with the charity’s expanding work.

RNRMC migrated to Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT and worked closely with Blackbaud customer success, professional services and training to automate workflows, run a data‑health project that removed 30% duplicate records, and deploy optimized online donation forms. The changes improved data accuracy and stewardship, captured additional Gift Aid (boosting revenue by a percentage point), increased fundraising capacity and helped sustain roughly £2.6M in annual donations.
