Queen’s University Belfast, a historic institution founded in 1845, uses Blackbaud NetCommunity to manage alumni engagement and development campaigns. Faced with a growing share of mobile visitors and static templates that delivered a poor experience, the university needed a responsive solution to reach and better serve alumni accessing content on smartphones and tablets.
The university hired a design agency to create responsive templates and worked with Blackbaud to implement them, a process described as straightforward. The result is fully responsive web content and tighter integration with Raiser’s Edge, giving staff a unified view of alumni activity, improving targeted communications and engagement—and positioning the university to increase future volunteerism and giving.
