A Blackbaud Case Study
Putnam County Habitat for Humanity (PCHFH) is a nonprofit building simple, affordable homes in a community of about 70,000. The organization outgrew an inexpensive, limited database that left data in silos, hindered donor stewardship and growth, and made it difficult to see overlaps between volunteers and donors.
PCHFH implemented Blackbaud’s eTapestry, a web- and mobile-enabled donor database that centralizes homeowner, volunteer and giving data, supports online giving and volunteer registration, and enables peer-to-peer fundraising. As a result, PCHFH acquired new donors and volunteers, increased online giving year over year, saved about $2,500 annually in printing and mailing by using email stewardship, and streamlined communication across departments.
