Case Study: PARC achieves consistent fundraising and improved data management with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT and Blackbaud University

PARC is a nonprofit in St. Petersburg, Florida, that provides more than 40 services to over 800 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Although it had used Blackbaud’s fundraising tools for years, PARC lacked consistent database and relationship-management practices and needed the right person with training to standardize fundraising processes and drive campaigns forward.

PARC hired Patty Gauss, a Blackbaud University–certified Raiser’s Edge NXT specialist, who standardized data entry, built segmented donor lists, eliminated manual duplicate work, trained colleagues, and improved reporting and acknowledgments. Her work led to better overall data management, stronger stewardship and fundraising practices, greater team adoption of tools, and positioned PARC to pursue larger initiatives, including planning around a comprehensive $12 million campaign.
