Oklahoma City Museum of Art - Customer Case Study

Oklahoma City Museum of Art (OKCMOA) is an AAM‑accredited institution serving over 125,000 visitors annually with exhibitions, film programs, a museum school, and one of the world’s largest Dale Chihuly glass collections. To improve visitor engagement and operational efficiency, the Museum needed to replace fragmented systems (Raiser’s Edge, Financial Edge, Patron Edge) with a unified platform that would give staff better insight into patrons and enable online and mobile ticketing.

OKCMOA migrated to Altru with Blackbaud support and staff training, gaining a single source of truth for patron interactions, streamlined communication across departments, and mobile/tablet capabilities. The new system simplified ticketing, class and camp management, reporting, and front‑to‑back desk communication—leading to stronger marketing, improved retention and membership, optimized fundraising, and more satisfied, empowered staff.
