New Yorkers for Parks Goes Above and Beyond for End-of-Year Giving Campaign

New Yorkers for Parks (NY4P), a century-old citywide nonprofit that champions parks and open spaces across New York City, wanted to get more strategic with fundraising: identify missed opportunities, integrate online giving with offline campaigns, and build a year-round communications plan to strengthen its end-of-year appeal.

Through the Go!™ program NY4P implemented a three-part email campaign (kickoff, reminder, last-chance), added pre- and post-campaign cultivation, experimented with behavioral segmentation, and launched a mobile-responsive donation form. The integrated effort produced a 554% increase in end-of-year giving after one year, lifted overall fundraising 24% year-over-year, and increased final-quarter donations by $11,000 to $72,000, while creating a repeatable multi-part campaign for the future.
