New Life Media, founded in 1973, operates a network of more than 23 radio frequencies across Illinois and parts of Missouri and Indiana with a mission to share hope through music and conversation. Fundraising staff struggled with dispersed donor data across five or six different systems (Constant Contact, Allegiance, Sage, Excel, QuickBooks, SurveyMonkey), which made donor engagement, reporting, and payment processing inefficient.
In December 2014 New Life Media implemented Blackbaud’s integrated suite—Raiser’s Edge, Luminate Online, TeamRaiser, Blackbaud Merchant Services and related tools—so survey responses, email segmentation, ticketing, peer-to-peer campaigns, and payment data flow automatically. The switch delivered measurable gains: donations from email links rose 300%, the accountant’s payment processing time fell from half a day to 30 minutes, monthly mailings to 150 donors for outdated card data were eliminated, processing fees dropped and PCI compliance improved—freeing staff to focus more on mission-driven work.
