The National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) is a national legal advocacy organization that has shaped LGBT rights for more than three decades. Before 2014 NCLR managed online and offline gifts in separate systems, forcing staff to re-key donations, introducing errors, and making it difficult to send timely, targeted communications to supporters.

NCLR moved to Luminate Online integrated with Raiser’s Edge, enabling faster, more personalized acknowledgements, real-time campaign monitoring, and data-driven adjustments during its “Love for All” fundraising effort. The integration improved donor retention and efficiency and delivered strong results — average gifts were 254% above the benchmark and value per usable email was 61% higher — fundamentally transforming the organization’s fundraising.
