Morehead State University Foundation, which raises and manages funds to support MSU students, sought to streamline operations and improve transparency after relying on manual processes and disconnected systems. Although they already used Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT for fundraising, duplicate data entry, lengthy report preparation, and limited cross-department visibility were slowing work and hampering donor stewardship.

The foundation adopted Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT and began integrating it with Raiser’s Edge NXT (with Blackbaud Award Management planned for connection), automating workflows and eliminating redundant entries. The change cut report production from a full day to seconds, increased confidence in financial and donor data, improved stewardship and collaboration across teams, and freed staff to focus more on programs and fundraising.
