Mercy Health Foundation, a St. Louis–based nonprofit supporting a four-state hospital network with a 200‑year heritage, needed modern cloud tools as patient care shifted toward virtual visits. Declining reliability of traditional hospital patient lists meant the foundation had to find and segment donor prospects differently, so it partnered with Blackbaud to modernize fundraising and fund accounting.

Real‑time access and data‑quality features (address updates, age checks, obituary screening) made major gift officers more effective in the field and improved overall efficiency and reporting for leadership.
