Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) is a global nonprofit that supports nutrition programs for vulnerable children through grants to local NGOs. Faced with applications scattered across email and spreadsheets and slow, manual reporting prior to 2010, the foundation’s grants process was time-consuming and pulled staff away from strategic planning and growth.
In 2010 HFF implemented MicroEdge’s GIFTS Online, using personalized, real-time dashboards and centralized data to streamline workflows and give staff remote access to key grant information. The change reduced grant cycle time, improved reporting and tracking across roughly 50 countries, enabled HFF to quantify and communicate its impact more effectively, and freed staff to focus on strategy and continual process improvement.
