Joslin Diabetes Center, a Boston-based leader in diabetes research, care, and education, depends on donor support to advance its mission. Facing rising healthcare uncertainties and limited fundraising capacity, the Center needed a way to identify and prioritize “grateful patients” who were most likely to become engaged donors and to optimize gift officers’ time.
Joslin partnered with Blackbaud, using the Grateful Patient Solution, Patient Conversion Model, Target Analytics, and Raiser’s Edge NXT to build a predictive, patient-reflective cultivation and solicitation program. The integrated data model gives fundraisers real-time insights on which patients to pursue, improving engagement, increasing return on investment for solicitation efforts, and streamlining philanthropy operations.
