Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA is a full‑access shelter serving nine cities that relies on animal control contracts and donations to care for sick, injured and hard‑to‑place animals. The organization needed guidance on online fundraising best practices, professionally designed emails, a way to integrate email with direct mail, and a single place to capture and store supporter contacts.
IVHS implemented Luminate Online Marketing and the Go! service package, participating in biweekly training and using program resources to launch monthly e‑newsletters, a housefile‑building campaign, integrated online/direct‑mail appeals and a donor welcome series. In 12 months online revenue jumped from about $10,000 to $33,569 (more than three times the prior year) and usable email records grew from 3,500 to nearly 7,000, resulting in a stronger multichannel fundraising program and a larger base of volunteers, champions and donors.
