How technology allowed Saint Peter's Prep to properly thank supporters of a $275,000 campaign

Saint Peter’s Prep, a Jesuit college-preparatory school founded in 1872, set out to optimize digital engagement and strengthen donor cultivation for its Founders’ Day Annual Fund drive. The school needed to reach a broad mix of alumni, parents, and friends — including constituents who hadn’t been previously contacted — and make donating simple and compelling.

By integrating Blackbaud Luminate Online with Raiser’s Edge NXT and other Blackbaud tools, St. Peter’s ran coordinated direct mail, email, and text campaigns, offered easy online giving (card, PayPal, or bank transfer), and personalized communications and thank-you content—embedding a video on its own website to keep supporters engaged. The effort resulted in more than $275,000 raised from over 400 donors and stronger ongoing donor relationships.
