A Blackbaud Case Study
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is a multi-institutional healthcare system serving 14 communities in Illinois and Wisconsin. Facing fragmented fundraising data across 10 separate Raiser’s Edge databases for its 13 hospitals, HSHS needed to consolidate systems and improve its ability to identify high-net-worth prospects to support major gift strategies.
HSHS migrated to Raiser’s Edge NXT and used Target Analytics (screening and modeling over 150,000 records) with strategic consulting from Blackbaud to train staff on data-driven prospect identification. That work led to reengaging a lapsed donor who joined the hospital board and gave $500,000 within two years, while the consolidated, analytics-driven approach generated more strategic donations and operational efficiencies.
