Girl Scouts of Connecticut, which serves more than 47,000 girl and adult members, needed a faster, more consistent way to train staff after migrating from Raiser’s Edge to the cloud-based Raiser’s Edge NXT. With fundraisers working in the field and limited internal training time, the organization struggled to get team members confident and productive in the database without heavy reliance on a database admin.
They invested in the Blackbaud University Learn Subscription and used Fundamentals and role-based classes for onboarding and ongoing learning, allowing staff to access and revisit training on demand. The result: faster onboarding for new hires, reduced time spent on internal training, increased data entry and engagement, improved data integrity, and more efficient decision-making.
