Finding the Right Solution for Le Jardin Academy’s Development Needs

Le Jardin Academy, an IB World School in Kailua, Hawaii, launched a new advancement office in 2016 to support its growing programs but found its existing Senior Systems platform and fragmented roles (marketing, PR, development) couldn’t meet fundraising and donor-management needs. With a small advancement team and heavy reliance on board and peer-to-peer fundraising, the school needed a more robust, mobile-ready CRM and a streamlined staffing model.

Le Jardin adopted Raiser's Edge NXT with help from Blackbaud, migrated its data, and reorganized roles to focus on development and communications. The move eliminated many manual processes, gave staff mobile access to donor records and instant reporting, freed time for donor cultivation, and positioned the school to prospect for a future capital campaign and planned giving program—so successfully that staff formed a regional user group to help other schools migrate.
