A Blackbaud Case Study
Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School, the largest Lutheran school in the United States and the biggest non-public school in Nevada, needed to modernize a manual, labor-intensive legacy management system that forced parents, students, and staff to use multiple platforms. Director of Innovation Jonathan Orr sought a seamless, automated solution that would be easier to manage and improve the overall experience for families and faculty.
By adopting Blackbaud’s integrated education management suite—including single sign-on, the Student Information System, a data-driven website, the Resource Board, Marketplace apps, and SKY API integrations—Faith Lutheran centralized communications and automated many administrative tasks. The school now collects 75% of assignments digitally, reduced teachers’ daily class activity time by about 50%, eliminated redundant content entry and manual CSV uploads, streamlined enrollment with one login from application through graduation, and saved significant staff time and costs.
