Everybody Wins Power Lunch - Customer Case Study

Blackbaud, a software company serving the nonprofit and education sectors, needed ways to engage its dispersed workforce in meaningful community service. Team Blackbaud Cambridge addressed this by partnering with Everybody Wins Power Lunch to provide regular, local volunteer opportunities that promote literacy and build relationships with elementary students.

Since 2005, Cambridge employees have met weekly for 45-minute lunch sessions at the Morse School to read with and mentor students; the program has increased kids’ enthusiasm for reading, created dependable mentoring relationships, and inspired other Blackbaud offices (such as Alexandria) to launch similar efforts—delivering sustained community impact and strong employee engagement.
