The Dominican Friars of the Western Province is a religious order with diverse ministries across the western United States that struggled with outdated systems, low online visibility, and underwhelming fundraising—only about 300 website visits a month and limited engagement kept them from reaching supporters and advancing their mission. Partnering with Blackbaud, the Friars launched a redesigned website and implemented Luminate Online with hands-on training through the Go! Program, gaining best-practice guidance and automation. The results were dramatic: monthly visits rose to 11,000, online giving increased 114% with $170,000 raised in the first year (up from $35,000), and social media engagement grew 35%, while staff saved time and gained greater marketing flexibility.
