Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a national nonprofit dedicated to finding cures and improving quality of life for people with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, serving more than 300,000 patients annually through 40 chapters. CCFA needed to raise more money, increase awareness, build a welcoming support community for patients and families, and gain better insights to target outreach and advocacy efforts.

To meet those goals CCFA adopted Luminate Online (along with TeamRaiser, Blackbaud CRM, Payment Services, and Analytics) to power peer-to-peer fundraising, event management, unified CRM and analytics, and mobile advocacy. The platform helped create a digital engagement hub, tripled online fundraising, boosted unique website visitors by 1,275%, and contributed to more than $200 million raised to date — with over a quarter of those funds raised through Luminate Online.
