Community Home Health & Hospice is a nonprofit serving Southwest Washington since 1977. Facing an aging Longview Hospice Care Center that needed renovation and the fundraising disruption caused by the pandemic, the organization needed to modernize donor engagement, pivot to virtual campaigns, and improve donor retention while running a capital campaign.

They implemented Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT (plus Online Express, Merchant Services, ResearchPoint and peer-to-peer fundraising) and worked with partner Cause and Solution for migration and managed services. Using the Work Center, instant reporting, online forms and targeted outreach, they raised $1.8M in eight months (halfway to their goal), secured a $1M gift and a $10K e-gift, and saw a 207% increase in fundraising and a 19% rise in donor retention.
