Christ the King School Makes Data-Driven Decisions with Blackbaud for Faith-based Schools

Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School is a Catholic, Cristo Rey-model high school on Chicago’s West Side that opened in 2008 to serve students from the Austin neighborhood. With enrollment at 300—half of its 600-student capacity—the school struggled with inefficient, nonintegrated admissions and academic databases, time-consuming manual data entry, and limited ability to extract and analyze information to drive admissions and operational decisions.

To address this, Christ the King implemented Blackbaud’s The Education Edge and The Raiser’s Edge with Blackbaud Application Hosting, providing integrated student billing, admissions, and registrar functionality plus secure off-site hosting and automatic updates. The change centralized data, eliminated manual processes, improved interdepartmental communication, saved staff time, and enabled faster, data-driven decisions to support enrollment growth and the school’s mission.
