Chatham Hall, an independent Episcopal school for girls, needed a better online giving and event registration experience that matched its branding and inspired donor confidence. Their existing donation and registration pages exposed donors to third-party branding, credit card processing fees varied by card type and were hard to allocate, email solicitations required manual work, and the alumni directory only included web-registered users.
Chatham Hall implemented Blackbaud NetCommunity Spark for branded donation and registration pages, Blackbaud Merchant Services OneRATE for flat-rate card processing, and Blackbaud Application Hosting to reduce IT overhead. As a result, the school saved about $2,000 in transaction fees (FY2011–12), increased online gifts from 30 to 165 (FY2010–11) and online donations from 10% to 14% of total giving, boosted Parents Weekend online registrations from 16% to 33%, streamlined email and Raiser's Edge integration, and launched a comprehensive alumni directory.
