A Blackbaud Case Study
Centrepoint is a UK charity founded in 1969 that supports homeless young people aged 16–25, providing accommodation, life skills and routes into education or employment for over 7,000 people a year (more than 100,000 helped since inception). As Centrepoint diversified its income streams it began receiving large volumes of campaign data from multiple external agencies; the manual, opaque import process into Raiser’s Edge created backlogs and prevented a single, joined-up view of supporters.
Implementing ImportOmatic to import data directly into Raiser’s Edge solved these issues, enabling seamless handling of larger datasets from more sources, eliminating the backlog and saving significant staff time. The charity now has a complete single view of each supporter—allowing better service to internal teams, stronger supporter relationships and more time for proactive, strategic work.
