The Center for Children & Youth Justice is a Washington state nonprofit that works to improve outcomes for more than 50,000 youth in foster care and the juvenile justice system. As it prepared a 10-year celebration campaign and an annual breakfast for 800 guests, the organization needed to re-engage loyal supporters and re-energize past donors—but its new development assistant required training to use eTapestry, the donor-management system critical to those efforts.

The organization enrolled the new staff member in instructor-led eTapestry “Fundamentals” training, covering giving reports, list segmentation, online form creation, and AddressFinder data standardization. As a result, she quickly mastered core fundraising tasks, the Center gained an integrated, updated data platform, and staff now have the skills and time to better connect with donors and sustain the campaign and fundraising activities.
