The Catholic Diocese of Allentown, which serves more than 252,000 registered Catholics across 83 parishes and 40 schools, faced a time-consuming, manual gift-processing workflow that limited them to processing donations twice a month and required staff overtime. Leadership sought a more efficient, reliable solution to reduce labor, speed processing, and free staff to focus on mission-driven work.
By adopting Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT along with Blackbaud Merchant Services (plus Online Express and Target Analytics), the diocese moved to daily payment processing, eliminated much of the manual work, enabled broader cross‑training, and saved staff days of effort and several thousand dollars in overtime.
