Brother’s Brother Sees GivingTuesday Surge

Brother’s Brother Foundation, a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit founded in 1958 to support healthcare, education, infrastructure and disaster response worldwide, needed a more modern, streamlined way to manage constituent records, communicate with supporters, and optimize online giving. They partnered with Blackbaud in 2019 to update systems and improve fundraising workflows.

Using Blackbaud Luminate Online, Raiser’s Edge NXT and Blackbaud Services for custom forms, email design, campaign strategy and donation-form optimization, Brother’s Brother expanded its donor base and improved stewardship. On their first GivingTuesday with Luminate Online, donations jumped more than 700% (from $6,000 to $50,000), and gifts synced into Raiser’s Edge NXT to provide a consolidated, 360-degree view of donors.
