Bosch bridges giving and volunteering efforts at locations across U.S. with Blackbaud’s YourCause

Bosch North America, with about 18,000 associates across nearly 100 U.S. locations, needed a cohesive corporate social responsibility solution to replace fragmented, manual processes—emails, spreadsheets, and sign-up sheets—that made employee giving and volunteer programs hard to manage and scale. Supporting STEM education, especially FIRST Robotics, was a priority, but inconsistent local approaches limited alignment and impact.

By deploying Blackbaud’s YourCause (piloted in 2019 and rolled out companywide within a year), Bosch centralized donations, payroll giving, volunteer scheduling, and analytics, eliminating manual errors and improving coordination. The platform supported 122 events, 1,314 signups, and 23,707 logged volunteer hours in 2019, enabled more than 150 associates to coach FIRST Robotics teams, and delivered greater efficiency, engagement, and a unified way for employees to collaborate on CSR.
