Crisis, the UK charity for single homeless people, runs an annual “Stand Up and Rock” fundraiser but could not access attendee donor details from ticket sales, preventing post‑event stewardship and limiting future fundraising opportunities. The organisation needed a way to capture supporter information at the event to build lasting relationships and maximise income.
Crisis deployed Blackbaud Mobile to enable instant SMS donations and capture supporter data that could be imported into The Raiser's Edge. The campaign generated 650 text donations in the first 20 minutes (856 by the end), raised over £1,000 extra, and captured 850 new donor records for follow‑up and inclusion in future campaigns.
