Blackbaud’s onCampus TM and onRecord TM helped the Fessenden School increase parent logins by 100%

The Fessenden School, a Pre-K–9 boys’ school in West Newton, MA, sought to transform its online interactions to boost student learning and increase parent engagement. Leadership wanted a connected, mobile-friendly platform that would give parents real-time insight into classroom activity and make communication across the school easier and more transparent.

By implementing Blackbaud’s onCampus and onRecord, teachers began using discussion boards, topic pages and assignment channels to share detailed assignments, resources and multimedia, and students used built-in productivity tools to track work. The clearer, more intuitive experience increased family involvement and communication — parent logins doubled (a 100% jump) and parents became active participants in the learning process.
