A Blackbaud Case Study
Archbishop Moeller High School, a private Catholic all-male school in Cincinnati, needed to modernize its admissions experience before the 2015 season. Moving from Admissions Office in Education Edge to Blackbaud’s onBoard, the school aimed to personalize communications, streamline processes, and improve enrollment outcomes.
By requiring families to opt into onBoard and rigorously preparing staff with weekly training and test runs, Moeller narrowed its candidate funnel and delivered a clearer, more guided application experience. The results: a 96% application-to-decision conversion, applications rising from 485 (Class of 2019) to 492 (Class of 2020, mid-cycle), and achieving 100% — ultimately 108% — of first-day registration goals, with families praising the easier, more personalized process.
