Heritage Museums & Gardens, a cultural institution with gardens, art, automobiles, and a STEM preschool, needed a better way to manage fundraising, ticketing, memberships, and events as demand grew. The museum turned to Blackbaud Altru to replace siloed systems and bring teams and processes together, while improving visitor engagement and scaling operations.

Blackbaud implemented Altru along with XTruLink to unify fundraising, membership, ticketing, and event management. The museum moved ticket sales online, used visitor data to identify donor prospects, and streamlined guest experiences with QR codes, real-time texting, digital membership cards, and self-service kiosks. Results included a 75% reduction in membership card costs, a rise to over 7,000 membership households, a 78% renewal rate, and 40.2% of members enrolled in auto-renewal.
