The Amalgamated Sugar Company LLC, a long-standing sugar producer with six facilities across Idaho and Oregon, was managing six aging, disparate phone systems serviced by multiple vendors and needed a multiple-location, single-system image to simplify administration, upgrades and service. After an extensive RFP, the company selected Black Box Network Services to deploy a ShoreTel VoIP system that met requirements for simplified management, survivability, expandability and a single source for support.
