Kinopalace Helsinki, a large multiplex cinema that launched the Delicasy World refreshment concept to offer more than traditional snacks, needed a way to present a large, dynamic menu and guide customers. After exploring options, the theater selected Black Box Network Services; Black Box recommended a multimedia signage solution using Black Box Wizard Multimedia Extenders and six 46-inch wide-screen displays to bring moving images to the concession area.

Black Box Network Services installed and commissioned the system, which staff easily manage from an office PC while Finnkino’s advertising team also supplies content. The digital signage cut printing, delivery and mounting costs, attracted customers, increased refreshment sales and profits, and delivered a short ROI — results that have led Finnkino to plan rollouts of the Delicasy World concept in other theaters.
