Fremont Memorial Hospital needed an easy-to-use, affordable digital signage solution to welcome visitors, promote services, announce meetings, and publish bulletins in its newly renovated lobby. After researching options, the hospital selected Black Box Network Services’ iCOMPEL digital signage system for its broad feature set, lower price, and simplicity.

Black Box implemented iCOMPEL with multiple zones, networked Central control, live feeds and instant messaging, and staff were trained to create four layouts and run a constant feed to a 52" lobby screen. Fremont added a second iCOMPEL unit plus a Black Box converter to distribute menus and bulletins over the hospital’s internal cable channel, enabling the marketing team to manage content easily and extend communications affordably and effectively.
