BMW of Minnetonka needed a concealed, high-end cabling solution for its new 250,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art dealership where heavy brick, concrete and limited ceiling space threatened visual appeal and functionality; each service bay required at least four data ports and integration across security, wireless and RFID systems. Black Box Network Services was engaged to design and install the infrastructure, using GigaTrue® CAT6 Cable to meet performance and aesthetic requirements.

Black Box Network Services provided RCDD-led design, installation oversight and industry-standard deployment, installing more than 17 miles of voice and data cabling and cabling, testing and bringing live over 300 jacks. The project delivered an organized network closet with no outstanding issues at opening, a lifetime Double Diamond™ equipment warranty, easier ongoing maintenance and reliable connectivity to support diagnostics and vehicle systems.
