A large police organization needed to expand its existing KVM and video wall control room infrastructure to incorporate a new headquarters and multiple smaller, remote police stations. The challenge was to integrate these new locations securely while preserving their huge investment in Black Box's DKM and Emerald KVM systems and Radian Flex video wall processors, all while simplifying the complex user experience for operators.

Black Box implemented a solution that added Boxilla system managers for redundant, multi-site monitoring and expanded the system with more DKM switches and Emerald units. They integrated the ControlBridge control system to provide operators with one-touch access to pre-programmed scenarios. The results included a reliable, scalable 24/7 operation connecting over 400 displays across the country, significantly reducing operator errors and fostering instant situational awareness through simplified control.
