Berkeley improves accessibility with Black Antelope’s WCAG 2.0 redesign

The department of Political Science at UC Berkeley, a top-ranked school, faced challenges with an outdated website that was not mobile-responsive or accessible. Managing content was difficult for staff, and course and faculty data were disconnected, creating a poor user experience. Black Antelope was engaged to address these issues.

Black Antelope redesigned and rebuilt the site using Drupal, creating a mobile-friendly and accessible site compliant with ADA standards. The solution integrated campus APIs to automatically import course and event data for real-time updates. Drupal was leveraged to dynamically link courses and faculty profiles. The results included an enhanced user experience, streamlined content management, and improved accessibility.
