The Danish automotive cooling parts supplier Nissens faced the challenge of creating a best-in-class e-commerce solution to improve global customer service, streamline internal administration across its 18 subsidiaries, and increase online sales. They partnered with the vendor Bizzkit to build a comprehensive customer portal utilizing their PIM, DAM, CMS, and e-commerce platform.
Bizzkit implemented a highly flexible customer portal for Nissens featuring a webshop with advanced search functions, a value-creating report generator for sharing product knowledge, and a download center for important documents. The solution allowed Nissens to personalize portal access for different customer groups. This resulted in online sales reaching DKK 500 million, accounting for 50% of the company's total turnover and 49% of all orders, while significantly optimizing internal workflows.
